Intuition vs Fear
How do we discern what is intuition and what is fear? And how does it manifest in our gut?
Whenever we are not aligned with our intuition, it’s easy to take on other people’s emotions as our own, or block ourselves entirely from being able to receive messages and take action.
All of us come into this world as intuitive, or empaths.
But somewhere along the way it was beaten out of us. We dissociated. We 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐳𝐞.
We guarded ourselves by being “𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡”.
Because of our fear of being 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝.
Because of our fear of 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞.
We 𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝.
And for those who identify as empaths, how often do we use this term as a crutch or a handicap to not put ourselves out there? 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 = 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
There are many kinds of intuitive, but today we’ll focus on three:
👁 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 (you see things like auras and colors or the future),
👂🏿 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 (you hear voices or music),
🖐🏾 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 (you sense other people's emotions or the environment of a room).
When we are not exercising our intuitive abilities by allowing our empathic pain or fear to get in the way, this can manifest as 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐆𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐩. Holding on to our victim narratives or 𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬. 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 to 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦. 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 or stomach pains. Skin rashes, etc.
While many of us may put a lot of effort into banishing our fears, what would it look like for us to instead 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘮𝘺? (Fear is just a butthurt and neglected adult who will never leave our side and needs to get called in if they’re going to stick around. 😆 )
It’s time to call upon the badass ancestor your’re becoming to let fear know that she can take a break!
